How to get duty-free from Delhi (DEL)
Pick items from the Delhi catalog in the app and send a request to a Smugglbear in your network who's flying from Delhi.
Your payment is charged in full and held until the handoff.
Your Smugglbear buys the items at Delhi Duty Free before their flight.
You meet, inspect each item, and enter the handoff PIN. Only then is the payment released.
Prices change, so they aren't listed here; the app shows the live price before you confirm anything, along with Smuggl's platform fee. Availability depends on a Smugglbear in your network flying this route.
Delhi (DEL) duty-free questions
How can I get something from Indira Gandhi International Airport duty-free brought home?
Through Smuggl. A Smugglbear in your own network who is already flying from Delhi buys the item from Delhi Duty Free and hands it to you in person. Your payment is charged in full when you place the order and held until you confirm the handoff.
Who would buy my Delhi duty-free order?
Only people in your own network: direct contacts and friends-of-friends, never strangers. Every Smugglbear is identity-verified with a passport or equivalent document before they can publish a trip.
Will the item still be duty-free when it reaches me?
"Duty-free" describes where the item is sourced from, not a guarantee that it is exempt from import duty at home. Whether duty applies depends on your country's allowance for the traveller carrying it.
